Sweeteners

Sweeteners come from a variety of origins and each particular type has its own purification requirements. Cane sugar, for instance, only becomes white granulated sugar after large color bodies like melanoidins and caramels are removed. Similarly, liquid sugars are perfected when “off” tastes and odors are removed. Starch based sweeteners, like glucose, dextrose, maltose and fructose, and artificial sweeteners have their own treatment requirements.

Activated Carbon

We offer OxPure™ high purity coal and wood based powdered activated carbon (PAC) with the accurate pore size distribution (PSD) to purify sweeteners.

Specialty Media

We offer OxOs™ products with very good mechanical hardness and hydroxyapatite mineral content that make it ideal for removal of certain heavy metals from sugar.
